Accommodation at UCA Canterbury

Ian Dury Halls at UCA Canterbury

There are three types of university accommodation available to new students applying to UCA Canterbury.

What's available?

  • Ian Dury House - located on campus, with nine flats, each housing six students in single study bedrooms. All bedrooms are ensuite (own toilet and shower) and there is one flat designed for disabled use.
  • Riverdale House - situated on Sturry Road, there are four flats, each housing six students in single ensuite study bedrooms. 25 minutes' walk from UCA Canterbury, 15 minutes' walk from the city centre and five minutes' walk from a large supermarket.
  • Hotham Court - Next to Riverdale House, a purpose-built residence offers a mix of ensuite and standard single study bedrooms in flats containing two, four, five and six single study bedrooms.

Priority is given to new students starting a full-time course whose home address is furthest away from the campus.

Your safety and welfare are extremely important to us and to ensure this we have out-of-hours cover through our teams of student wardens.
