By road

From London, take the M2 towards Dover, then the A2 at Faversham (take the exit at Junction 7).

Exit the A2 at the A2050 to Canterbury. At the outskirts of the city, take a right at St Peter's Roundabout and follow the A290/A28 Ring Road. Turn right at the third roundabout by the cinema (signposted A2050 to Sandwich) into New Dover Road.

Immediately after the traffic lights turn left into the University drive - look for the signs to Canterbury College and to UCA.  Follow the drive round to the right and UCA is on your left.

By rail

Take a National Rail train from London Victoria to Canterbury East, then take a taxi to the University (Make sure that you ask for the University for the Creative Arts in New Dover Road - Canterbury has several colleges and universities and sometimes the taxi drivers get them confused!).

Alternatively take a National Rail train from London St. Pancras International or London Waterloo East to Canterbury West, changing at Ashford International if necessary, then take a taxi to the University.

Eurostar passengers can get off the train at Ashford International in Kent. This station has direct rail links to Canterbury.

By air

It takes between one and two hours to drive from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton airports to the UCA campuses. The same journeys take between two and three hours by train. Please see the links below for detailed directions.

By sea

The English Channel ferry crossing arrives at Dover and the Eurotunnel at Folkestone. Dover and Folkestone are less than 30 minutes from Canterbury.

From Dover you can take a National Express Coach from Dover (Ferry Port) to Canterbury (Bus Station), or you can catch a National Rail train from Dover Priory to Canterbury East. From these stations you can catch a taxi to the University (make sure to specify to the taxi driver you want the University for the Creative Arts at New Dover Road).

If you choose to drive, take the A256 north, which leads onto the A2 towards Canterbury. Exit the A2 at the A2050 towards Canterbury. Turn right at Edward Road, signposted Canterbury College. Follow the drive round to the right and UCA is on your left.

Parking

There is limited parking available on campus and visitors are asked to use one of the signed car parks in Canterbury city centre. Exceptions can be made for Blue Badge Holders and anyone with special requirements should contact UCA Canterbury directly.

Further information on car parks is provided by Canterbury City Council. A Park and Ride service is also in operation along New Dover Road Monday to Saturday and stops outside the University
