UCA Farnham

Entrance, UCA Farnham

A hub of creativity, UCA Farnham has over 2,000 students studying a wide range of creative arts subjects including fine art, photography, textiles, crafts, film, graphics, journalism and advertising.

Farnham is a bustling, creative market town, full of striking Georgian architecture, bohemian bars and quirky shops. Just under an hour by train to central London, Farnham is the ideal place to study. We provide the space you need to reflect and practise, all within easy reach of the capital's must see galleries, exhibitions and industry contacts.

Our students love Farnham because of its close knit community and friendly feel. The town is steeped in history which dates back as far as the twelfth century, we even have our own castle! Situated throughout the town you can discover art galleries, studio spaces, creative businesses and alternative venues which all contribute to the artistic feel.

UCA Farnham is just a short walk away from the town centre and provides purpose-built facilities with specialist workshops for textiles, ceramics, glass and jewellery; fine art and film studios; film and sound editing suites; journalism newsrooms; photography studios and darkrooms. It boasts on-campus accommodation, an extensive University Library, art shop, refectory and the James Hockey and Foyer galleries.
