Alun Jones

Alun Jones retired in 2006 from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he had been a senior client partner with wide experience of auditing and specialist/advisory work with FTSE 100 companies and other major international groups.

He was Deputy Chairman of the elected Supervisory Board of PricewaterhouseCoopers UK Firm and an elected member of the Global Supervisory Board of PwC internationally. Most recently, he was also responsible for the UK's work with emerging markets and developed a 'Corporate Simplification' service. Previously he was staff partner responsible for all HR issues in the 4,000-strong London office of what was then Price Waterhouse.

Alun was educated at Kingston Grammar School and St Catherine's College, Cambridge, where he graduated in Natural Sciences and Business Studies.
