David Hunter

David Hunter read Economics at University College, London. He qualified as a chartered accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and joined 3i Group Plc, the FT100-listed venture capital group. Over a 20 year stint covering many aspects of the business, he rose to be a member of the UK management committee.

David currently heads the investment activity at NESTA – the Lottery-funded promoter of innovation and creative ideas. David is also a Non-Executive Director of Chill Factore (the Manchester real snow ski slope); Forest Holidays (a spin-out of the Forestry Commission's leisure business); and Media Metrica, an on-street media platform.
