Professor Kerstin Mey
Professor Kerstin Mey holds an MA in Art and German language and literature, and a PhD in art theory/aesthetics from Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany.
After several academic and research positions in Universities in Germany and the UK, she currently works as Director for Research and Enterprise at UCA and is a Professor of Fine Art there.
Her own research is concerned with engaged creativity in the public domain. She has written many articles, authored and edited books and journals. She is a member of the AHRC Peer Review Panel and has acted as reviewer for other inter/national funding organisations, publishers and research conferences.
Her experience includes Board membership of cultural organisations and initiatives. She is currently a member of the Farnham Maltings Board. As Artistic Director of ISEA2009, she led the organisation of the 15th International Symposium on Electronic Art in Ireland.
