Sarah Jeans
Sarah Jeans trained as a film director at the National Film and Television School. Working with fellow NFTS graduate, Molly Dineen, as a freelance documentary filmmaker she made several award winning documentaries for the BBC and Channel 4.
In 2000 she moved into education, working at UCA (then The Surrey Institute of Art & Design) as a Senior Lecturer on the BA (Hons) Film Production course.
In 2004 she became an Associate Dean for Media. Among other projects she developed and established the very successful ESF funded WiDE (Women in Digital Entertainment) programme.
In 2008 she took up her current position as Dean for Research and Innovation in the Creative Arts based at the Epsom & Farnham campuses.
