With courses specialising in areas such as Animation, Graphic Design, Video, Photography and Illustration you'll find a diverse artistic community where you are actively encouraged to push your artistic practice to the limits.

· UCA Maidstone offers integrated teaching and research facilities, including a multi-user video editing facility and video studio, an extensive printmaking area, specialist animation resources and a specialist photography studios and darkrooms.

· Purpose-built studios are provided for all undergraduate and FE courses. A dedicated research studio is also provided for postgraduate study.

· UCA Maidstone is set in the leafy Oakwood Park just 15 minutes' walk from the town centre. Students' halls of residence are ten minutes' walk away from the campus and even closer to the town.

· Maidstone is just 50 minutes on the train to Central London. London's Gatwick airport is within easy reach via the M20, M25 and M23

· Research activities are an important part of student life at UCA Maidstone. The Photo-Video Research Group has contributed to debate around contemporary practice in photography and the moving image, and we've held many international conferences and seminars, organised screenings at the Tate Modern and produced a number of publications.
