Architecture graduate shortlisted for prestigious RIBA Award

Lukas Vetrovec, who graduated from UCA Canterbury's BA (Hons) Architecture, RIBA part 1 in 2009 was shortlisted for The President's Medals Student Awards with his final year project: 'Warsaw Inclination: the advancement of human motion within the urban landscape'

The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has been awarding the President's Medals since the 1850s and the awards were established in their current format in 1984.

These awards are widely regarded as the best architectural education awards in the world, the aim of which is to promote excellence in the study of architecture, to reward talent and to encourage architectural debate worldwide.
