International student support

UCA has a dedicated team of International Student Advisors (ISAs) who support our international students throughout their studies.

There is an ISA based at each campus who can provide advice and guidance on a range of issues which you may experience as an international student, including:

• Visa renewals
• Visas to visit other countries as part of your studies
• Police registration
• Money advice including help setting up a bank account
• Health care
• Disabilities
• English language support
• Future career development
• Part-time working during your studies.

Welcome Programme

The Welcome Event is delivered as part of your induction to UCA and is designed to provide valuable information on any aspects of university life and living in the UK. It also provides you with the opportunity to meet other new students on your campus.

By attending the event you will have an opportunity to find all necessary information, fun and friends you need to make your transition to UK life as carefree as possible.
