MA Show at UCA Farnham
The next generation of artists will show their work at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) at Farnham's annual Masters Degree Show.
The free exhibition, MAde 2012, runs from 31 August to 7 September 2012 at the James Hockey & Foyer Galleries at UCA Farnham.
Jamie Dobson, Associate Dean of Postgraduate at UCA, said: "The MA Show at UCA is a unique opportunity for the public to experience exceptional emerging contemporary art, craft and design practice.
"It's also a great chance to see the great work that's being produced in the town and maybe see if you can spot an artist that could be the next Damian Hirst or Tracey Emin, who is a graduate of UCA.
"One of the strengths of the MA programmes in Farnham is the opportunity for interdisciplinary practice which can be seen through the breadth and ambition of this exhibition."
Highlights of MAde 2012 include works by textiles student Peta Jacobs, who has already exhibited in Japan and London this year.
Ceramicist Fay de Winter, who closed her pottery shop to further her practice through an MA degree at UCA Farnham, will exhibit her unique porcelain works, while Adriana Brinsmead-Stockham will display some of her sought-after glass sculptures.
The exhibition at UCA Farnham's Falkner Road campus is open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturday 1 September.
