The short film uses a blend of CGI and a 2D painterly style to tell the story of a dog that meets a spaceman on a lonely road, and follows them as they journey towards the moon.
"It was a surreal experience finding out I'd won. I had sent off the film at the end of summertime, and didn't think too much more about it, as I didn't even consider the possibility of winning anything. They asked me to come out to Taiwan, and receive the award in its capital, Taipei, which was a phenomenal experience. I got to meet the Minister of Education, along with some amazing students from all over the world."
2025 TISDC embraced the theme “Diversity”, echoing the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The competition encouraged emerging designers to reflect on the diverse dimensions of the world and everyday life, and to channel the power of design to create a more inclusive, creative, and sustainable future.
